Since the year 2000, the “Friends of Arco” are offering a “Mountain Guide Service” in Arco. The society “Friends of Arco” was founded in 2000 under the name “White Planet” with a small office in Prabi on the edge of Arco. Since then many things have changed.

One year later the founder Mauro Girardi and Saskia Engelhardt have modified its name and the company has become the Friends of Arco srl. with the aim of promoting climbing, outdoor pursuits (trekking, via ferrata, canyoning, skiing) and a variety of events linked to these activities.

The “Friends of Arco” have taken over the management of the Rock Master climbing wall, and have given it a new identity: they have created the “Climbers’ Lounge” where you also find their office. In the passed years, the Climbers Lounge become an information centre for visitors and locals but overall it’s a meeting place for climbing, bouldering, chating and a place for like-minded people.
