This course is aimed at skiers who have mastered the basic techniques of off-piste skiing. During these days we teach you all the skills that you need to start ski touring. Our approach is very much teach-it-as-it-comes-up. But of course like always there is some theory input in the evenings over a drink. This trip is a spectacular circuit through the impressive scenery of the Dolomites. Our base is in Cortina d’Ampezzo , where in the evenings we will enjoy Italian specialities and local wine. | Ability: You have to be able to ski with linked parallel turn down a red slope in all snow conditions and be able to stop quickly when required. Average daily ascent: Expect to climb an middling of 500-800 meters a day and to be on skis for about 5 hours |
